Peter Strugatz
Peter is co-founder and co-CEO of IceStone, LLC (www.icestone.biz). IceStone is a Brooklyn based building products manufacturer of high design green countertop material made with 100% recycled glass and cement. Peter’s 25 years of manufacturing and management experience helps lead IceStone’s sales and operations. Mr. Strugatz also heads the company’s investment effort, raising $13 million of mission-aligned capital for IceStone’s start-up period. IceStone is a triple bottom line business with Cradle to Cradle Gold Certification (www.mbdc.com/c2c/) and is a founding member of B Corporation (www.bcorporation.net). Prior to IceStone, as head of Strugatz Ventures for 6 years, Peter invested in several social purpose companies including Stonyfield Farm Yogurt, Zipcar, Wild Planet Toys, and Utah Ventures. He seeks financial, social and environmental returns that support sustainable communities. He is a former board member of the Social Venture Network (www.svn.org) and the ALS Association and co-founder of Sustainable Business NYC.
