The Angel Capital Association is a peer organization of angel investing groups in North America. The professional association focuses on networking and sharing of best practices among these angel organizations.

B Lab/B Corporation

Certified B Corporations are a new type of corporation which uses the power of business to solve social and environmental problems.  B Corps are unlike traditional businesses because they meet comprehensive and transparent social and environmental performance standards, meet higher legal accountability standards,  and build business constituency for good business.

Bolder Giving

Bolder Giving’s mission is to inspire and support people to give at their full lifetime potential. Bolder Giving offers eye-opening stories of extraordinary role models, gives donors practical advice on how to give at their full potential, and provides tools and inspiration to the donor education community.

Business for Social Responsibility (BSR)
BSR works to create a just and sustainable world by working with companies to promote more responsible business practices, innovation and collaboration.

Business Alliance for Local Living Economies (BALLE)
BALLE works to create, strengthen and connect local business networks dedicated to building strong Local Living Economies.

Coalition for Environmentally Responsible Economies (CERES)
CERES encourages corporate environmental responsibility by working with companies to help them meet their commitments, promoting environmental reporting and mobilizing their network in activist projects.

Community Development Venture Capital Alliance (CDVCA)
CDVCA promotes the use of venture capital tools to create jobs, entrepreneurial capacity and wealth to advance both the livelihoods of low-income people and the economies of distressed communities.

Confluence Philanthropy

Confluence Philanthropy is a network of practitioners that builds capacity and provides technical assistance to enhance the ability of foundations and non-profits to pursue mission related investing strategies.

Environmental Entrepreneurs (E2)
Environmental Entrepreneurs (E2) is a national community of business people who believe in protecting the environment while building economic prosperity. Working with NRDC (Natural Resources Defense Council), E2 serves as a champion on the economic side of good environmental policy.

Ethical Markets
Ethical Markets is a television series whose mission is to foster the evolution of capitalism beyond current models based on materialism, maximizing self-interest and profit, competition and fear of scarcity. By showcasing groups and individuals spearheading the new ethical markets, Ethical Markets seeks to grow this emerging, job-creating sector and expand its market share—globally and locally.

First Affirmative Financial Network (FAFN)
FAFN is an independent investment advisory firm registered with the SEC. FAFN supports a nationwide network of investment professionals who specialize in helping clients engage in socially responsible investing (SRI). FAFN also host SRI in the Rockies, an annual gathering of SRI industry professionals.

Global Impact Investing Network (GIIN)

The GIIN supports collaboration, develops industry infrastructure, and undertakes research and advocacy to foster a coherent impact investing industry. The GIIN's programmatic agenda is rooted in the challenges investors face. It serves as a forum for identifying and addressing the systemic barriers that hinder the impact investing industry's efficiency and effectiveness.  The GIIN works to increase dramatically the level and effectiveness of capital that is supporting market-based solutions to social and environmental problems.

The Natural Step
The Natural Step accelerates global sustainability by guiding companies and governments onto an ecologically, socially, and economically sustainable path.

Net Impact
Net Impact fosters a new generation of leaders who use the power of business to create a better world.

Play BIG

Play BIG is an intimate gathering that inspires and informs people with large capital reserves who seek to align their money more fully with their values.  Play BIG’s model of interactive inquiry encourages innovative approaches to deploying capital through investment and philanthropy to affect positive social and environmental change.

PRI Makers Network

PRI Makers Network helps foundations expand their use of program-related investments to achieve their philanthropic goals. Through their participation in the PRI Makers Network, members develop the skills, tools and connections they need to build successful social investment programs.

Responsible Wealth
Responsible Wealth members use their voices as wealthy business leaders, investors and inheritors to speak out for progressive taxes, corporate accountability and living wages.

Research Initiative on Social Entrepreneurship (RISE)
RISE studies and disseminates knowledge about the markets, metrics and management of for-profit and nonprofit social enterprise and social venturing. RISE is a research project at Columbia Business School.

Resource Generation
Resource Generation works with young people with financial wealth who are supporting and challenging each other to effect progressive social change through creative, responsible and strategic use of financial and other resources.

RSF Social Finance
RSF Social Finance is a nonprofit financial institution offering investing, lending and giving services that foster social and spiritual renewal. In partnership with its community of investors and donors, RSF provides capital to both for-profit and nonprofit social enterprises working in the areas of Food & Agriculture, Education & the Arts, and Ecological Stewardship.

Slow Money is a movement and an organization. The movement is a response to money that is too fast, companies that are too big, and finance that is too complex. The organization focuses on four initiatives: building networks, creating new financial products and services, developing educational programs, and designing assessment tools to identify opportunities in local food systems.

Social Investment Forum is a national, nonprofit membership organization promoting the concept, practice and growth of socially responsible investing.
